About Jerara

Jerara was developed in December 2009 by SKMG (Netherlands). The idea behind Jerara is that everyone who owns an iPhone (or any other type of smartphone) should have the possibility to prominently display their name and email address on their iPhone wallpaper, in case they lose their iPhone.

If a finder doesn't know whose iPhone he found, why return it?

Several studies claim that, if your name and contact information is clearly shown on a found object, up to 80% of lost objects find their way back to the owner. Of course, there's lies, damn lies and statistics, but with Jerara, at least you give an honest person a chance to contact you directly.

Also, imagine that someone finds your iPhone and leaves it with the Police or the Lost & Found department of a theme park. Wouldn't it be much more convenient just to show a piece of ID to get your phone back?
